Blue Mist Shrub

This lovely shrub produces bright and feathery violet-blue flowers from late summer into early fall. Stunning when planted en masse or blends well with perennials. Has an open 4' growth habit, with aromatic silvery foliage. The delicate blooms give a soft, hazy-blue appearance. In colder zones (north of zone 7) Blue Mist Shrub will die back to the ground and is best treated as an herbaceous perennial. In warmer zones, trim back in late winter for size and to remove deadwood; flowers on new growth. Not tolerant of wet areas, so plant in a sunny, well-drained location.
