Shasta Daisy
2003 Plant of the Year, Perennial Plant Association. Shasta Daisies are a must in sunny, cut-flower gardens and Becky's Daisy is the best we've grown. Plants are smothered with large white Daisies atop sturdy 3-4' stems that refuse to flop, even after a hard rain. Blooms start in early June and last for 8 weeks or more, especially if flowers are deadheaded. In fall, cut back to the shiny, basal foliage, which will be evergreen all winter. From GA gardeners Becky & Jimmy Stewart, Becky's Daisy is by far the best for Southern climates.
