Geranium x cantabrigiense 'Biokovo' (Geraniaceae)
One of the best Geranium cultivars for the South — introduced by Dr. Hans Simon, noted nurseryman of Marktheidenfeld, Germany, this is a natural hybrid between the species G. dalmaticum and G. macrorrhizum. 'Biokovo' forms a loose, low carpet in partially sunny locations. Soft white blossoms with showy pink centers from late spring to early summer, and grapefruit-scented foliage is an unexpected treat. We welcome this dependable and easy perennial every spring.
