Oxalis crassipes 'Alba' (Oxalidaceae)
White Wood Sorrel
You'll enjoy the simple white blooms of White Wood Sorrel lighting up the shade in woodland gardens. The clover-like leaves form tight green mounds of foliage; slender stalks support delicate white trumpets just above the foliage. Heavy spring bloom is followed by sporadic rebloom all summer. Interplant with little spring bulbs, or use White Wood Sorrel as a groundcover beneath shrubs. Morning sun to bright shade is fine, in average soils; a drink is appreciated during drought. Not native.
