Sedum emarginatum 'Eco-Mt. Emei' (Crassulaceae)
(SEE-dum ee-mar-gin-A-tum)
Chinese Sedum

Georgia plantsman Don Jacobs collected this Sedum on the lower slopes of Mt. Emei in China’s Sczechuan Province. 'Eco-Mt. Emei' forms compact evergreen mats of succulent round leaves, with small yellow star-like blooms appearing in summer. In winter, the typically green leaves develop a reddish cast. Beautiful and adaptable, tolerating a wide range of soils and light conditions.
