Agastache foeniculum 'Golden Jubilee' (Lamiaceae)
(ag-ah-STA-chee fuh-NIK-yew-lum)
Golden Jubilee Anise Hyssop

A chartreuse-leaved form of Anise Hyssop introduced in honor of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. This tough and easy native has upright stems topped with spikes of purple-blue flowers throughout summer and into fall, attracting butterflies and hummingbirds. Deadhead fading blooms to encourage fresh new flowers to emerge. Anise hyssop has a pronounced minty-anise fragrance, and makes a floriferous addition to any herb or pollinator garden. Appreciates a bit of afternoon shade here in the South, and moist well-drained soil.
