Heuchera villosa 'Mocha' (Saxifragaceae)
Developed by crossing H. villosa 'Brownies' with other dark-leaved Heucheras, 'Mocha' is another star in the series of cultivars introduced by Thierry Delabroye. Huge leaves create an impressive mound of chocolaty foliage with cherry undertones, topped in early summer with airy spires of tiny white blooms. Parentage is primarily southeastern H. villosa, making this plant particularly well-suited to the heat and humidity of the South.
